Earth Day

What are you doing for earth day? One of the things I am doing is opening up the shades and turning off the lamp on my desk. I would be planting my garden but alas, I'm working. Earth day is all about planting trees, picking up trash, recycling, and of course, cutting down on energy consumption. According to CNET, plasma TVs, on average, consume about 2 to 3 times more energy than their LCD counterparts in the tests they ran. However overall an LED backlit are the most energy efficient and they look great too. So if you are thinking about a new TV and are wanting something energy efficient, the LED is the way to go.
